New Friends, leadership skills, and mastering drills?
252 GB Girls from around Singapore had a taste of all this and more at the annual Junior Leadership Training Camp (JLTC) 2025. Here, they brought ideas to life within hours, creating station games for their parents.
Girls testing out the games they created
“I enjoyed learning and practising leadership skills. I also liked building friendship and working in a team with girls from other schools. JLTC has taught me how to work with different kinds of people who have different ideas, leadership styles and personalities.”
Elizabeth Kay,
12th P Coy – Nanyang Primary School
“I enjoyed making the games the most from the JLTC. I learned to work together as a team, and I want to be a good and responsible leader.”
Tiffany Richard,
16th P Coy – First Toa Payoh Primary School
Having been taught to L.E.A.D – Look, Listen, and Learn from their peers and environment, to Energise others with a positive Attitude, and to Demonstrate their care for their team, JLTC Girls were well equipped to lead their parents in an afternoon of fun!
Parents enjoying the JLTC Carnival game booths
“Thank you for providing our child with the ability to step outside her comfort circle and develop the confidence to stand independently among various people in different environments. We are very delighted to see our daughter in uniform and being so courageous during her performance. We also enjoyed the ceremony.”

I felt proud and happy that my daughter was leading games at the carnival as well as her being able to interact with families who attended the JLTC carnival. I feel that she is able to step out of her comfort zone and try new things. The most memorable part for me was participating in the carnival games that the GB girls had set up and watching the drill the GB girls performed.

“My husband and I were there at the JLTC Carnival and Ceremony. We will have to give thousands of thanks to all the Officers and leaders who help our girls grow to become servant leaders. We appreciate very much the character and value building for the girls, which parents alone could never do. We need the GB “village” to do it together!
We can’t stop thanking God for putting our daughter Janelle in GB. Janelle is a quiet and shy girl, but we were thrilled and touched to see her talking to other parents at the carnival. JLTC is a wonderful training for the Girls!
